Tropical Texas Vacation
Rentals, located on beautiful
South Padre Island
just off the southern tip of Texas, welcomes you to our
little piece of paradise. Not only do we share the balmy
sub-tropical climate found in south Florida, we have
pristine white sand beaches and the crystal clear blue
waters of the Gulf of
Mexico. South
Padre Island sits at the southern tip of Texas on
the longest barrier island
in the world. The island is 35 miles long, with
over 25 miles currently undeveloped.
Once you visit the Island, you will never want to leave.
There is never a bad time to visit – the average annual
temperature is 74 degrees. Summer and spring are the most
popular but fall and winter have excellent benefits, too.
Coming during non-peak seasons will give you more choices
of available rentals, better pricing and less traffic
while still having warm weather and the beautiful ocean
just waiting for you.
South Padre Island
hosts a multitude of events throughout the year with
something to appeal to everyone. Whether your interests
lie with sand castle
building, holiday festivals and parades, motorcycle
rallies, basketball or fishing tournaments, you can
schedule your trip to coincide with the many scheduled
events.
When you venture to the mainland, there are several
historic sites and museums
for you to peruse, including the
historic Lighthouse.
If you want to leave the driving to someone else, there
are several tour companies in the area that offer
reasonably priced tours to area attractions, including
Mexico.
